What makes a meal out in a restaurant truly memorable?

Is it superb food, great service, stylish décor, atmosphere, ambience, wonderful wine or the excellent company? The list could go on and on. Different things are important to different people. Most would agree though, we all look for that "X" factor. That "Special Experience" that is all encompassing and difficult to pin down. Some functions by their very nature can demand a high degree of formality. I am trained to perform to the very highest level. On other occasions a lighter and more relaxed approach may be required. My skill set is tuned to gauge the tone and expectation of the day and deliver appropriately.
